Wrap a gift with wallpaper

Some nice wallpaper will serve as a gift-wrapping paper. Papercutting patterns have been taken from here.

This “model” will go to a very persistent student of mine to signify a year of studying before his holidays.

Some more options with papercuttings. It was rather difficult to choose the best. Which do you like most?

My start with gift wrapping

It all started a year and a half ago, 2008 Christmas time, when I was overwhelmed by my  childhood  Christmas memories and I wanted to wrap the presents in a beautiful way, not just throw everything into a gift bag. Wrapping the presents up and out was  really satisfying.

So, I played with paper, decorations and wrapped the gifts in my own way. The process of making a green Christmas tree wrapping was extremely satisfying and involving.
